Yesterday, I was able to drive out to our house to see how far it is. I haven't been able to see it for about 2 weeks and I was anxious to see where it is. All the drywall is up and has been mudded and taped. It is nice to start to see it come together. All the rooms look smaller then they did when it was just the framing but I'm glad to see it all come together. The stucco job looks to be finished be there still is scaffolding around the house.
This weekend was also a good poker weekend. I was down to my last few dollars and needed to redeem myself for last weekend in Utah. I took $60 dollars out on Friday night to begin my adventure. My best hand I got that night was on a Kill pot ($3-$6 game) and I had pocket Aces with 4 other people in the pot. I kept raising and they keep calling me. It ended up being Heads-up with another guy who had pocket Kings (which was pretty upset that I had Aces). That pot ended up being about $100 dollars and I ended up leaving the casino with $120 (up $60)
I decided to got out again Saturday night and only taking $60 with me to avoid getting in trouble with Katie. No particular hand stands out, but I increased my earnings slowly throughout the night. I ended up coming home with $160 (up $100). I was pretty pleased with my weekend. I felt I played very well with no stupid calls or bets. I also had plenty of good Lay-Downs to help me stay out of trouble. Being up $160 in a weekend definitely puts a smile on my face (especially Katie's)
Take a look at our photo album for the pictures of the house.

Your house sure looks nice to me. It will be good when you can move into it. If you don't watch out, you will become a gambler. We got snow last night. Don't you wish you were up here in the snow? Probably not. Just enjoy all the sunshine. Grandma
