I am ashamed that my last post was before Valentine's Day. MY BAD!!!! Things have been busy here in our neck of the woods so here is a little recap:
Valentine's: We all surprised each other with gifts. Braydon and I got Katie a solid milk chocolate Kiss in which she enjoyed (and even shared with us), along with a game. Now I pick out four different board games that I thought Katie would enjoy and Braydon got to make the final decision so that he could feel that he got part in choosing her gift. He ended up picking the Pirates of the Caribbean DVD Scene-it. I should have figured that Braydon would choose a "boy" game if he ever has the chance. Oh well, we played it and had a good time. I also got Katie a cute vase with fake flowers from a lady at work. Katie got Braydon and I a together gift which was the Wii Transformers game. It is a fun game, even though it's pretty hard to play.
Circus Circus: We went to Circus Circus for some entertainment. We went to the Adventure Dome so Braydon could ride a few rides. It was later in the evening so we only let him ride one ride that he got to pick out for himself. We will go back again for the entire day to buy a pass so we can go on all the rides next time. We went to see the Acrobats perform and played some of the Carnival games. We had no such luck in winning any prizes (Katie, Braydon, or Myself) until the last game of the night in which Braydon won on his very own. He had so shoot a cannon full of bean-bags to make a tic-tac-toe to win. He did it in 4 shots and won a little bear that he calls "David."
Nascar: My boss at the hospital had an extra ticket to the Nascar race here in Las Vegas and said I could buy it from her if I wanted to. I couldn't resist and had a good time. Here is my own recap:
Tony Stewart: Crashed (That's alright because nobody likes him!!!)
Dale Jarret: Crashed (Sorry Travis)
Jimmie Johnson: Never really in the race (Sorry Brandon)
Jeff Gordon: Crashed with 3 laps to go (Sorry Braydon and Nanny)
Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Finished 2nd (my driver if you can't tell from the new background)
I recommend it to anyone to go at least once to see and hear the cars live. Yes, surround sound does help but it blows your mind in person. I will be planning a tailgate party next year for all those interested in going to the race (Katie and Braydon even want to go)!!! Let me know so we can buy the tickets so we are all together!!!!

It was a real shame that Dale Jr didn't win!!! That was a good race!! There were a lot more wrecks than last year! Braydon looks good in his Gordon shirt!!! We will all have to go next year!!!
Shane - I didn't know you were a nascar fan!! Freeman was at the Vegas race too. He said it was pretty fun. I decided I better stay home this time - we just got back from the Daytona 500 a couple weeks before. Glad to see that your a Jr. fan too!! Sounds like you guys are doing great in Vegas!
