Yesterday, Superbowl 43 (for those who don't know Roman Numerals) was set. The Pittsburgh Steelers vs Arizona Cardinals. I am pulling for the Cardinals. I do have a little spot in my heart for the Cardinals.
Let me get one thing straight, I was VERY mad that they beat the Cowboys when I went to watch them in October. With that said, living in Flagstaff for those 2 years lead me to like them considering that's all they talk about (along with the Suns, Diamondback, Coyotes). If you ask Braydon who his favorite teams are, he says "Cowboys, Cardinals, Raiders, Buccaneers" in any random order depending on the day.
Another reason I want the Cardinals to win is the fact that I got to see them in person. I also got to see the Baltimore Ravens in person in 2000 when played the Cardinals and went on to win the Superbowl. I would be great to be able to say the same thing for the Cardinals.
Lastly, this will be the 7th Superbowl appearance for the Steelers with them winning five of them. This is the 1st Superbowl appearance EVER for the Cardinals and I like cheering for the "New" guy when my teams are not in the big game.
I could go on and on about it but will save it for another day (when football is done for the year sniffle, sniffle).

Holiday Pictures
Another quick update from the Rogers' House. We have made it through the end of 2008 and already enjoying 2009. We just got back from a quick trip to Utah for my nephew's birthday/Baptism. We left Thursday Night after I got off work and hit a "White-Out" in Payson in which I heard my wife state "I don't think I will ever drive in this stuff (snow) again." We played a lot of games, ate lots of treats, and hit the road Sunday afternoon.
We did get our computer fixed up and I've spent the last few hours downloading all of our Holiday pictures to our computer. Here are the Albums I added if you would like to take a look: (From oldest to Newest)
1 Braydon's Thanksgiving Program
2 Thanksgiving with Rogers'
3 Rogers' Xmas Party
4 Jazz Game
5 Thanksgiving with Moore's
6 Las Vegas Snow (yes, it's true and I've got proof)
7 Xmas Eve
8 Xmas Day
9 Xmas with Moore's
10 Lego-a-thon
My parents will be coming into town in a week or so, then the Superbowl. We will have more pictures and updates then.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!
I know it's been a while since my last post but our computer has been acting up so we have not been online. Here is a quick re-cap:
Thanksgiving: We were up in Utah for a week and ate way to much. We were with the Rogers' family for the actually holiday and then the Moore's on Sunday. We played lots of games and plenty of "Black Friday" shopping. I flew back that week and Katie and Braydon stayed for another 2 weeks.
Christmas: It was our first Christmas in our own home with no family. It was weird not seeing everyone but we made new traditions with our own little family. We all got spoiled and here are some of our gifts: Braydon-Scooter, Legos (of course), Lego Batman Wii game, Optimus Prime Transformers, Movies (Bee Movie, Spiderwick Chronicles, Alvin and the Chipmunks), etc... Katie-Digital Camera (gotten in October), Wii Fit, Toaster, Blowdryer, Clothes, Movies, Games, etc... Shane-Dallas Cowboy tickets (gotten in October), Aerosmith Guitar Hero Wii game, Movies, Clothes, Scrubs, etc....
New Years': Katie's family started arriving here in Las Vegas the day after X-mas. They helped take down all of our decorations considering there was a 18 month old running around the house. We ate good, played games, laughed, shopped and had a great time. We hit the casinos one night and also had a New Years Eve Hold'em Tournament. I took second place with my sister-in-law Lindsey beating my two pair with her Ace high straight. We watched the Fireworks from the Strip on our TV with plenty of neighbors doing there own fireworks.
Our house will be nice and quite now. We have pictures of the holidays but will have to wait to download them until after our computer is working again. We should have our computer back in about a week so we will do it then. I know, I know, You've waited 6 weeks for a post so 1-2 weeks won't be that bad!!!!!!!
P.S: I know, I know, BYU LOST, COWBOYS LOST, I'm still trying to get over it and it's still difficult to realize Football is over for MY teams!!!!

Let's Get It On!!!!
Turn up your volume for the BYU Fight Song!!!!
The #14 BYU Cougars will travel to SLC to play the #7 Utah Utes Saturday afternoon to determine the Mountain West Conference Championship and possible BCS berth. I'm all geared up and ready to go. The last two games have been won by BYU on last minute touchdowns and this year should be no different. I will be having some co-workers over for the game (since it's on the Mtn. channel and only a few people can get it!!!).
I want everyone to RISE AND SHOUT because the COUGARS ARE OUT!!!!!
Enjoy the game.
P.S.: As for the family, we are all doing well and we will be arriving in Utah for Thanksgiving on Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting) I will then fly home while Katie and Braydon stay for another 2 weeks because Braydon will be on track break.

House Full of Candy!!!
Halloween is always a fun time. Not only do we get to dress up (I'm not really a "dress-up" person) but we get to have tons of candy. We started Halloween off about two weeks ago with our Ward Trunk or Treat. Braydon finally got a chance to wear his Indiana Jones costume. Katie went as a Pirate Lady. She then told me to hurry and figure something out because "YOU ARE DRESSING UP!!!!" So, I put on some old scrubs, and went as a doctor, quick and simple. Braydon had a blast playing with all his church friends, running around, and getting tons of candy.
We then had our FHE Monday night to carve Braydon's pumpkin. He got to design it while mom de-gutted and I got to "connect the dots" as Braydon put it. He did a great job in his design. I had to adjust somethings to make work out. While we were doing that, Katie was making homemade caramel popcorn balls to give to our neighbors. Of course, we had a ball of our own.
Braydon then had a Halloween party on Thursday in which he got to dress up for the second time. All of his school friends thought he was cool. They had a little program and parade to see all the kids outfits.
We ended our Halloween festivities by going to the Town Center Mall with some ward friends. Let me tell you, it was a MAD HOUSE!!!! It took us about 30 minutes (in the parking lot) to find a spot to park, then the lines for candy were about 30 minute waits. All the kids were getting cranky (so were the parents mind you because of all the people) so we decided to leave and go back to our own neighborhoods. It took us about another 45 minutes go get out of the mall (from the parking lot). We hit some ward members house and chatted with them for a while. Overall, we had a good evening (minus all the waiting)
We add four new albums: Ward Trunk or Treat, FHE Pumpkin Carving, School Halloween, Halloween Night so check them out.
P.S.: Congrats to the Phillies for winning the World Series. I had to change our background and BYU and the Cowboys have not been playing well as of late so you get to look at the Phillies logo for a week or so.
