Yesterday, Superbowl 43 (for those who don't know Roman Numerals) was set. The Pittsburgh Steelers vs Arizona Cardinals. I am pulling for the Cardinals. I do have a little spot in my heart for the Cardinals.
Let me get one thing straight, I was VERY mad that they beat the Cowboys when I went to watch them in October. With that said, living in Flagstaff for those 2 years lead me to like them considering that's all they talk about (along with the Suns, Diamondback, Coyotes). If you ask Braydon who his favorite teams are, he says "Cowboys, Cardinals, Raiders, Buccaneers" in any random order depending on the day.
Another reason I want the Cardinals to win is the fact that I got to see them in person. I also got to see the Baltimore Ravens in person in 2000 when played the Cardinals and went on to win the Superbowl. I would be great to be able to say the same thing for the Cardinals.
Lastly, this will be the 7th Superbowl appearance for the Steelers with them winning five of them. This is the 1st Superbowl appearance EVER for the Cardinals and I like cheering for the "New" guy when my teams are not in the big game.
I could go on and on about it but will save it for another day (when football is done for the year sniffle, sniffle).

Good Luck to your Cardinals - our house will be cheering for the Steelers!! Freeman bought the boys each their own Steelers jerseys for Christmas - he's true blue Pittsburg fan!! Should be a good game - can't wait. Always good memories of the Super Bowl parties at your parents house -those were good times!
