House Full of Candy!!!

Halloween is always a fun time. Not only do we get to dress up (I'm not really a "dress-up" person) but we get to have tons of candy. We started Halloween off about two weeks ago with our Ward Trunk or Treat. Braydon finally got a chance to wear his Indiana Jones costume. Katie went as a Pirate Lady. She then told me to hurry and figure something out because "YOU ARE DRESSING UP!!!!" So, I put on some old scrubs, and went as a doctor, quick and simple. Braydon had a blast playing with all his church friends, running around, and getting tons of candy.

We then had our FHE Monday night to carve Braydon's pumpkin. He got to design it while mom de-gutted and I got to "connect the dots" as Braydon put it. He did a great job in his design. I had to adjust somethings to make work out. While we were doing that, Katie was making homemade caramel popcorn balls to give to our neighbors. Of course, we had a ball of our own.

Braydon then had a Halloween party on Thursday in which he got to dress up for the second time. All of his school friends thought he was cool. They had a little program and parade to see all the kids outfits.

We ended our Halloween festivities by going to the Town Center Mall with some ward friends. Let me tell you, it was a MAD HOUSE!!!! It took us about 30 minutes (in the parking lot) to find a spot to park, then the lines for candy were about 30 minute waits. All the kids were getting cranky (so were the parents mind you because of all the people) so we decided to leave and go back to our own neighborhoods. It took us about another 45 minutes go get out of the mall (from the parking lot). We hit some ward members house and chatted with them for a while. Overall, we had a good evening (minus all the waiting)

We add four new albums: Ward Trunk or Treat, FHE Pumpkin Carving, School Halloween, Halloween Night so check them out.

P.S.: Congrats to the Phillies for winning the World Series. I had to change our background and BYU and the Cowboys have not been playing well as of late so you get to look at the Phillies logo for a week or so.
