NOT A Good Sports Week!!!

This week was a bad sports week for us in the Rogers' household. As you all know, the Cowboys started off the week with a loss to the NY Giants. I think I have finally (not really, nor ever will) gotten over that heartbreak, at least I have stopped crying!!! The Superbowl is set. The New England Patriots Vs. New York Giants. I really have no interest in this game (I know, I know, it's sad, but true). I hate the Pats (the current NFL dynasty, Superbowl every other year about, Can't stand the coach) and hate the Giants (Same division as Cowboys, Beat Cowboys in Playoffs) If I had to pick one team and only one team to cheer for, it would be the Patriots. They will be going for perfection by winning the Superbowl and going 19-0 in a season (which has never happened). The closest to 19-0 was the 1972 Miami Dolphins who went 17-0 and the 1985 Chicago Bears who went 19-1. I guess if I have so subject myself with something, it might as well be history!!!

Then Braydon and I ended going to the BYU vs. UNLV basketball game. BYU got KILLED!!! It was not even close. They ended up losing by 29 points, I guess the bright lights of Vegas BLINDED the Cougars as they drove in!!! Thy did end up beating the Utes on Saturday in SLC. I was working and not able to see any of the game.

Braydon got a X-mas gift card from the Weights. I didn't want to pick it out and wanted to be surprised. I went shopping to Target hoping to find a Post X-mas clearance sale (in which I did) and found him a cool Firefighter Boat Lego set that actually floats in water. He loved it and has been begging for us to fill the tub up again so he can "REALLY play it the RIGHT way in the WATER!!" We informed him that it was to be played with in the water ONLY with parental supervision.

We had a date night (Adults ONLY) with two other couples on Friday Night. We ended up eating at the Seasons Buffet at the Silverton Casino. It was actually quite good. It was Seafood Night with shrimp and Crab legs that you can have cold or warmed up. We then when to the Movies to see 27 Dresses. It was a typical "Chick-Flick" but all had an enjoyable evening without children!!

Other then that, it has been the same old stuff. I'm working, Katie's cleaning, and Braydon's going to school. We will be in Utah this weekend. I have Friday off and Braydon has no school so we will leave Thursday night after work and then drive back home Sunday afternoon.
