I played my first round of golf in Las Vegas. Let me tell you, it was a different experience. I got the opportunity to play with a friend's Elders Quorum. We played at the Revere Golf Club. We played the Concord Course and it was beautiful. We got our 18 holes, plus cart for only $30. I love to golf but not because I'm good (just ask anybody that I've golfed with before) but because I just love to be out in the fresh air with the guys!!!!
We didn't start playing until noon and it was already 100+ degrees. We did catch a break with it being overcast until the 8th Hole. Then the sun pounded us for the next hour or so. On hole 14, the clouds came back over us. I do have to admit, I was dying of the heat (and got a mild sunburn on my arms and back of the neck) but actually played on of my best rounds ever. I ended up with a 108 (+35). Now I know you may be laughing at that score but I normally hit around 120 (+50 or more). Again, all you have to do is ask those who I have gone golfing with before and they will tell you.
I would recommend golfing in the early morning or late evening (of course, it will be more expensive at those times). I would love to play more golf in the future and will love to try to find the "Best" course here for those who would like to go out sometime.

For the small amounts of time we spent outside in Vegas while we were there I can only imagine being in the scorching heat long enough to golf 18 holes. No wonder you got burnt! I'm glad you had fun. I'm sure even your worst score at golf would be a TON better than anything I could do.
