Surprise!!!

Well, for the past month and a half, we have been living a big lie. It all started back on Labor Day. We didn't go camping with our friends and we did not forget our camera as we said in our Labor day post.

We actually surprised my family but just showing up at our cabin. We knew that all of our family would be up there for the long weekend so we decided to go up there. We hadn't been to the cabin for about a year and a half. It was good to see it again and spend a nice relaxing weekend up in the mountains. My sister and her family knew we were coming so that they could plan for food. From Flagstaff, it takes about 8 hours to get to the cabin. We went up the Eastern side of Utah going through Blanding, Moab, and Price. It was nice to be able to see a different part of Utah. Moab is beautiful and recommend anyone to drive through, or spend a weekend, whenever possible.

To make up for spending a weekend with my family, this weekend we did a surprise visit to Katie's family. We choose this weekend because I wouldn't have to miss a single class since we has some meetings down in Phoenix. I went last year so I didn't feel like I needed to go this year. We also went this weekend so we could see Katie's little sister, Emily's volleyball game. We had Braydon walk up to the top of the bleachers and walk over to Katie's parents and both of their jaws dropped and hit the ground. We had a blast this weekend and it went by way to fast.
