This is what our truck looked like at 2:00 pm today (More pictures in the Photo section). Somebody broke into the truck and stole the cd player. I got home from school yesterday around 5 o'clock after a long day. I didn't drive today because it wasn't my turn to drive and got a ride from my friend who lives in the next appartment complex. (We normally carpool anyways, so it was no big deal) Katie had some errands to run today, so she came and picked me up from school, did our errands, and treaded ourself to a quite lunch (Braydon was in school).
When we arrived home after lunch, Katie noticed that our truck shell window was broken out as we drove up. We went and inspected and found our cd player gone and the dash board busted apart. We called the police and they sent a policemen over to take some pictures and fingerprints. From what the policemen said, the area we live in has about one car that is broken into a week.
The funny thing about the whole thing is that our Ham radio wasn't even touched. It is by far, the most expensive thing in our truck. We decided not to chance it again so we took the Ham radio out. The other thing that is funny is that the window that they went through in our shell as placed nicely on Braydon's car seat that was in the back so that the glass would not brake. They did brake the brackets so we need to get them replaced. We taped a garbage bag over the hole and I get out of class tomarrow at 9:00 am so I will go to a shell place and get the window put back in.
