The end of August to the first of February has got to be the best time of the whole year, and it's all about College and NFL football. We went to our first NAU football game. It was a different experience because it was not how I've ever seen a football game. I'm use to watching BYU football were the stadium is huge and you have to bear the climate (sunny and hot to snowy and cold) NAU plays there games in a dome on turf and it is as big as LaVell Edwards Stadium without the upper deck and without the endzone seating. I looked at the box score and found that the attendence was about 7,500 people as to the 65,000+ at BYU. Katie likes it because when we go to NAU's football games in November, her toes won't freeze!!! Some pictures of our experience is in our photo album, Take a look!
This week was not to exciting until the football game today. I had my first patient on Thursday. We get a chance to help students that have physical therapy problems once a week. Three of us 2nd years get a chance to evaluate and treat a patient under the supervision of one of our professers. My patient was coming in for a knee injury so I spent all afternoon going over knee stuff so I would know what to do for them. When the time came for the appointment, my patient no showed. I was very disappointed because I could have been studing other things but I guess that's how it happens sometimes. Hopefully I have a better experience next semester.
