Thanksgiving!!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. We had a good time down here in Flagstaff. We will give you a quick recap:

Tuesday: Katie's family decided to show up a day early, so they arrived to a messy house but it didn't seem to phase them. We went to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner and relaxed the rest of the evening.

Wednesday: I had classes in the morning until noon. Katie and her mom started to bake the pies and start the cooking. We went out to some of the stores that needed to be visit.

Thursday: A lot of cooking and a lot of eating! (Need I say More?) The whole day, Braydon was telling us that he "likes turkey legs!" So you can see, I cut the leg off for him, of course, he didn't touch the leg. We have some pictures in our photo album

Friday: We rented a mini van so all of us could fit in one car and headed to Sedona, Az. It's a beautiful place that reminds me of Moab, Ut. We did a few little hikes and hit the local gift shops that are all over the place. Pictures in the photo album.

Saturday: Went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. We all enjoyed it and couldn't wait to see the next movie. We then transformed our apartment from Thanksgiving, by taking all the fall stuff down to Christmas, by putting up our tree and other Christmas stuff. Pictures in the photo album.

Sunday: We got up and had breakfast and then Katie's family left around 8:30 am.

Of course, we were sad to see them go, but we can now start counting down to the Christmas break!!! (Which is twenty days if your interested!!)

Not Much Here

Well, Nothing much has been happening here in Flagstaff. I'm doing the school thing, Katie's doing the work thing, and Braydon is doing the kid thing. We've been getting ready for Katie's family to come and visit us for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I wasn't going to post anything for this week and just have a bunch of pictures from "Turkey" Day as Braydon likes to call it, but my parents sent us some more pictures from when they surprised us. These pictures are of Braydon at school and goofing around outside our apartment on the playground. All the pictures can be found in our photo album.

Hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving and not eat to much (yeah right!!!)

Our 4th Anniversary!!!

Yes, can you believe it?? We celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary on November 10th. We didn't have much planned. I had school until noon on Thursday and Katie had to work until three. I made a visit to a local flower shop and surprised Katie with some roses (Yes, I know, I'm romantic) and also had dinner ready for her when she got home (Meatloaf and Yummy potatoes-Thanks Nanny for the leftover potatoes!!!)

On Friday, we planned to go have lunch at Sakura Sushi & Teppanyaki restaurant. It was alright. Katie doesn't like that style of food but I do. I was disappointed at the food and service at least for the price we paid. I still prefer the Teppanyaki restaurant in Provo. I think I enjoyed the entertainment in Provo better. In Provo, they cook a shrimp for every customer and then flip it at you and you try to catch it in your mouth. They didn't do that here. Katie and I both agreed that Teppanyaki in Provo is a lot better. They did do a big "Ring of Fire" here that Braydon loved. Of course, we didn't order anything for Braydon because he doesn't eat anything except for a peanut butter and honey sandwich. We have some pictures in our photo album.

I start another week of cardio-pulm class which will consist of a test Monday, and another test Wednesday along with a practical. I'll let you know if I survive next week.

Another Surprise!!

We had a wonderful surprise on Thursday. My parents showed up for the weekend. I was out doing a some observation of a Physical Therapist doing a treatment on a child, when my dad called to see what I was doing. I was on my way home when he called. I told them I was almost home and that I would have Braydon call them back when I got home. As I was walking up to our apartment, I noticed a white Jeep but didn't pay any attention to it since there are many Jeeps that are in our parking lot. While we were talking on the phone, we got a knock on the door and there they were!! It surprised us since we never get knocks on our door.

I had to go to school Friday for about two hours and Katie had to work so they watched Braydon for us. Friday was a laid back day and we just stayed home and relaxed. Saturday, Katie and my mom went to a Craft Fair and other shopping and then came home and did some of Katie's scrapbooking. While they did that, us boys watch BYU beat UNLV. My parents left Sunday morning and when they left, we headed out to church. It's amazing how a weekend flies when you have visitors. Take a look of some of the pictures from this weekend in our photo album.

Happy Halloween!

OK, so I'm a day late! Our computer was acting up last night and I would only get the pictures from our camera to our website before I had to go to bed. Our Halloween night was pretty good. We drove Braydon to his baby-sitters house so that he could see it at night since he only sees it in the morning. We then went to the church for a Trunk-or-Treat. It was good. I have come to realize that this is the way to Trick-or-Treat because it is confined to a small area, you get a lot of candy in a small amount of time. We were only there for about 45 minutes and Braydon had a full bucket of candy. I think he had a better time giving candy out then actually getting the candy! We have some more pictures in Photo Album so you can enjoy.

As for me, I just finished the "WEEK OF HELL" with two test and another practical so that was quite fun (like poking your eye with a hot stick) but I made it through it. This week, we have our Cardiopulmonary Therapeutics class from 8-5 Monday-Wednesday. We have to do that because our professor that did teach Cardiopulmonary last year took a new job at a different university and we are being taught by a professor who travels around and gives lectures in the Cardiopulmonary field. It is very interesting but 8 hours a day for 3 days is a short time to learn a lot of stuff. He is also coming back the week before Thanksgiving for 3 more days. I can't wait for the break so that I can have some time off!!!!
