This weekend has been very busy. Katie's mom and sister Lindsey came for the weekend. This was not a pleasure visit but rather a working weekend. Katie (and our entire family) are trying to raise money (more on this to come in the next few weeks so keep checking our blog for our BIG plans!!!) by making and selling crafts. Katie found out about a "Garage sale" at a school and recruited Nettie and Lindsey to come and help. Basically, the only time we left the house was to 1) shop for more "stuff" 2) eat 3) Braydon's baseball game (more on that at the end). Our house was a disaster the whole weekend (which drove Katie NUTS!!!) but that's all good. They had a pretty good turn out at the Craft sale. They were able to make some money and we all enjoyed the company. It's just to bad it was a short trip!!!
Another reason for the visit from Nettie was that is was her birthday. Katie made her a cake in which we all enjoyed. Probably not one of the funnest "birthday vacations" but she got to enjoy the sun, see Braydon, see Katie and of course ME!!!!
The Easter Bunny visited our house with lots of candy. Braydon got Bedtime Stories, church clothes and candy. We did color some eggs and had a very low key Easter.
Braydon is now 7 years old. He had a Friends Birthday party a week ago. The theme was Bakugan. He ended up with a lot of Bakugans and Legos. He choose to go to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants called Coyotes in Henderson. Our server brought out a thing of ice cream and whip cream. For those who don't know, Braydon is a VERY picky eater. Now back to the story. After a bunch of people sang "Happy Birthday" our server picked up a spoon got some whip cream and feed it to Braydon in which he quickly spit it out on to his clothes. After cleaning him up we realize he was trying to blow out the candle at the exact moment the whip cream was going into the mouth. Needless to say, Braydon did not want his ice cream after that!!!
Last but not least. Braydon got his 2nd base hit of the year. This time we got it on video so take a look:

Braydon's a picky eater? I had no idea! That's too bad that the server ruined his favorite (and only) dessert that he likes. That was such a cute video of his 2nd base hit, and running into home plate. I like the way he stepped around the catcher to get to the base. Cute kid!
I had a great time being out there with you all I lOVED the cake ;o) I wished I had more .....lol And yes the house was a mess but we had a good time......Love you all
