WE ARE BUSY!!!

We have been EXTREMELY busy since Braydon finished school. Sorry that it's been so long but here is a quick recap:

End of July: We went to Utah to my family reunion and had a great time. Braydon loved playing with new friends (distant cousins somehow) and his cousins (Lanier kids). It actually felt nice and cool to us (mid 90's) while everyone else was dying of the heat. My dad and I took 3rd place in the Horseshoe tournament. I won an MP3 player as a Bingo prize. Katie was also able to buy some iron rod decorations for the outside/inside of our house during the Auction.

We then went to Heber so spent a few days with Katie's family. We even got to spent a morning at Jordanelle State Park. Braydon is truly a fish and would love to live in it 24-7.

First of August: Katie's little sister, Emily, came home with us and stayed for about a week. Katie and her spent most of the time reading, eating, shopping, and going to the movies. Since she has been gone, we have done nothing but watched the Olympics all night long. I don't know, I guess I'm a GEEK, but I love to watch all the "weird" sports. This is the only time I can sit down and watch Water polo, Weightlifting, Badmintion, Synchronize Diving, to name a few. I do stay up to watch Micheal Phelps. He is amazing and truly on of the best athletes I've ever seen. I'm glad to say that I was able to see him get all these gold medals and hope he gets this 8 for 8 this year.

We are doing the school shopping for Braydon and have one more trip up our sleeve before summers over but more on that later. Our camera is being stupid again so no pictures at this time.

We were glad to see you at the family reunion. The kids had fun playing with Braydon too. I also love watching all the "weird" olympic sports.

Seriously the Olympics rock. We TIVO all of it and watch it for hours. Just so you know the only reason you won the MP3 player is 'cause I didn't play that round:) (BTW Angela directed me to your blog.
