Thanks to the help of family (Katie's family) and good friends (Crane's) we are living in our own house. We got our key last Wednesday afternoon and Katie and I moved some boxes in that night. Thanksgiving morning, we went back over to the storage unit to move more boxes. This time we had two SUV's to load and we were able to take two trip before going home to watch the Dallas Cowboy football game (do you actually think I would miss that???) and get ready to go out to dinner. We went to Memphis Barbecue for a family style Thanksgiving dinner. Of course, it was not as good as home-made but we decided that with us moving, our friends working, we could have a home-made meal any time (and will in December sometime!)
We rented a moving truck for Friday and Mike and I loaded up the truck just in time for Katie's Dad, Mom, and little sister to help un-load. That as been pretty much our weekend with shopping at Home Depot, Linen-N-Things, Target, going out to brunch at The Original Pancake House, Cheesecake Factory. We did have some spare time to watch the BYU-Utah game (Which was a great game to watch!!!) and have a small Poker Game in which I was victorious over Katie's little sister, Emily. I was close with each of us taking the chip lead for the last half hour until I got some good hands.
We will have some pictures up on the web as soon as we get most of the boxes out of our house and into the garage.
