I have officially finished my second internship as of Friday. I am half way through my last year of PT school. Man, I get excited just thinking about that and the fact that I won't have to take any more classes!!!! I had a great time up in Bountiful at the Avalon Care Center. The Rehab staff was wonderful and I got to learn more about how a Skilled Nursing Facility works. I didn't think I was going to have as much fun as I did. I could see myself working in a setting like that someday. I do have to admit something, I dis-liked that commute very much. I felt I was gambling in deciding when I should leave based on the weather and just like gambling I won some put most of the time I lost!!! I am grateful that I don't have to get into the mess it is going to be this morning due to the weekend snow fall!!!
Now I am officially ready for Christmas. I have a week filled with honey-do's and making sure Braydon's at all of his scheduled appointments. We are going to a fellow PT classmates house tonight for dinner, then we will be spending a few days with my parents, going up to Salt Lake to see temple square and all the lights, then spending the rest of the weekend up in Heber with Katie's family.
Braydon is SO excited for Santa to come. This week, Braydon is going to write Santa a note letting him know that we will be up in Heber so he can bring his presents there. He has a typically four-year-old mind when it comes to X-mas presents, he only wants "BOY" toys and everyday he changes his mind so I hope we got the "right" stuff.
Hope all is well with everyone and have a great holiday season!!
