The NFL Experience!!!

This weekend, we were able to take a little trip to phoenix so that I could go to a NFL football game. My buddy, Mike flew in from Vegas to meet me for the game. We watched the Arizona Cardinals host the Washington Redskins. Mike is a big Redskins fan, so it was easy to talk him into coming to a game. It was the first game that I've been able to attend since we moved to Flagstaff. This was my second Cardinals game overall. I came down a few years ago to watch the Baltimore Ravens the same year they won the Super Bowl. I put some pictures of the game in the photo album. I just realized that I was to busy taking pictures of the NFL players that I totally forgot to get some shots of Mike and I (Oh well, maybe next time!!) The picture above is of Santana Moss #89 and Mark Brunell #8 on the Redskins. It was a good game and the final score was Redskins 17 - Cardinals 13.

Katie and Braydon stayed at the hotel during the game. They spent time watching movies, playing Star Wars Toys (of course), and swimming the the little spas. They said they had fun but I think both were excited to leave.

The only thing that was disappointing about this weekend was the fact that I have two finals tomorrow and was not able to get a lot of studing done. I was able to do some before our trip so hopefully that's good enough to get by. Wish me luck!!!

P.S. ONLY 6 days until we are back in Utah for the Christmas break!!!!

Wishbone Anyone?

Things are coming to an end. School is wrapping up for the semester. I only have this week of classes and then finals on Monday and Tuesday the following week and I'm done. I can't believe it, but I only have one more semester of "book" work before I go out on internships (that's crazy). I can't believe we only have about six more months of living here in Flagstaff.

Katie and Braydon did the breaking of the wishbone the other day. I don't know if Braydon understood the meaning of the "wishbone" but enjoyed breaking it none the less. Katie ended up with the larger piece and will get her wish granted!

We are all excited for Christmas to come. I think were mostly excited to be able to be home for a while. Can't wait to see you all!!! (12 Days if your counting!!!!)

Thanksgiving!!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. We had a good time down here in Flagstaff. We will give you a quick recap:

Tuesday: Katie's family decided to show up a day early, so they arrived to a messy house but it didn't seem to phase them. We went to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner and relaxed the rest of the evening.

Wednesday: I had classes in the morning until noon. Katie and her mom started to bake the pies and start the cooking. We went out to some of the stores that needed to be visit.

Thursday: A lot of cooking and a lot of eating! (Need I say More?) The whole day, Braydon was telling us that he "likes turkey legs!" So you can see, I cut the leg off for him, of course, he didn't touch the leg. We have some pictures in our photo album

Friday: We rented a mini van so all of us could fit in one car and headed to Sedona, Az. It's a beautiful place that reminds me of Moab, Ut. We did a few little hikes and hit the local gift shops that are all over the place. Pictures in the photo album.

Saturday: Went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. We all enjoyed it and couldn't wait to see the next movie. We then transformed our apartment from Thanksgiving, by taking all the fall stuff down to Christmas, by putting up our tree and other Christmas stuff. Pictures in the photo album.

Sunday: We got up and had breakfast and then Katie's family left around 8:30 am.

Of course, we were sad to see them go, but we can now start counting down to the Christmas break!!! (Which is twenty days if your interested!!)

Not Much Here

Well, Nothing much has been happening here in Flagstaff. I'm doing the school thing, Katie's doing the work thing, and Braydon is doing the kid thing. We've been getting ready for Katie's family to come and visit us for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I wasn't going to post anything for this week and just have a bunch of pictures from "Turkey" Day as Braydon likes to call it, but my parents sent us some more pictures from when they surprised us. These pictures are of Braydon at school and goofing around outside our apartment on the playground. All the pictures can be found in our photo album.

Hope everyone has a Great Thanksgiving and not eat to much (yeah right!!!)
